Supported languages and localization in Paver
Learn about the supported languages in IBM® Paver. You can ask questions in a supported language during an interactive chat session and receive a response in that language. Use the /lang slash command to set the language for the entire session.
On this page
Paver supports the following languages in the CLI and web UI:
- Brazilian Portuguese
- English
- French
- German
- Italian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Simplified Chinese
- Spanish
- Traditional Chinese
Changing the language#
You can change the language in two ways: let Paver adapt to your language for each request, or set the language for the whole session.
Let Paver adapt automatically#
Send a request in a supported language, such as Spanish or French. Paver recognizes the language and responds in that language. This change applies only to that request. If your next request is in a different language, Paver responds in that language instead.
Set the language for a session#
Use the /lang slash command to set a consistent language for the session. This setting applies to the interface and to Paver's default responses.
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
/lang TAG | Set the session language to a specific language tag. For example, /lang es sets Spanish, and /lang fr sets French. |
/lang list | Show all supported language tags. |
/lang interface TAG | Set the interface language only. |
/lang response TAG | Set the language for Paver's responses. |
/lang reset | Clear all language preferences and restore the default language. |
